New overhead mounted agitator drive for high temperatures and pressures

Due to the installed radial bearing combination of graphite and SSiC bearings, the conversion kit is very resistant to aggressive media. The easily replaceable radial bearings also allow a simple mounting and maintenance. Additionally, they have very good dry running properties. DST achieved a better concentricity due to an optimised design and a better bearing positioning. With this new development, customers can benefit from a more cost-effective solution for lower pressure by simply changing the canister material.

The new agitator drive is designed for 2.5 Nm static torque at 20°C and can be applied in ranges up to 400 bar and 350°C. Higher torques and a temperature resistance up to 420°C are available on request. The delivery is without motor as standard, but can be optionally included. If desired, the agitator drive can be finished with an anodisation and graved with the own company logo.
